DON'T FALL 'PREY' TO THE CRAZY DIETS!

     Hello, Dyan here (The Health Coach Is In) to tell you there are hundreds of quick and easy weight loss diets out there right now, but don’t be fooled into thinking those diets will work because of some magical food, pill or potion.

BE AWARE!

     Be aware of the media-hysteria that's built around an expensive supplement, like acai berry, green tea or apple cider vinegar that promises quick weight loss. Because there are no such miracle supplements or even foods (for that matter) that help you get to your goal weight faster and keep it off long term.

     AND be aware of extreme regimens like liver flushes, bodily cleanses, colonics, hormone injections and more. Because again, there is no scientific basis for these recommendations. Your body is well equipped with organs, such as the liver and kidneys, to rid itself of toxins and does an excellent job of cleansing itself without needing flushes and cleanses to do it. Our bodies are intelligent, efficient machines that can run on their own if we let them. 

      There is no such thing as one size fits all when it comes to diet plans. Find one that fits your lifestyle, right now. It should be flexible enough to fit into your real life. It should be one where you can enjoy eating the foods you love every day, mindfully, pleasurably and in moderation.

     In fact, the best diet of all is to forget about dieting and instead learn the skills of INTUITIVE EATING. Learn what it means to actually listen to your body and know 'what' and 'how' much food is just right for you.

SO JUST FOR TODAY..... I CHALLENGE YOU!

      Put calories, health and your fears about gaining weight aside and write down what you truly would love to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. What would feel satisfying, delicious and exciting? Let this part of you have a place in your life, just for today.

     What you may find out is that what you truly want to eat is NOT that unhealthy, after all. In fact, it might be very balanced. Your lunch and dinner may be light and wholesome. You may even find that your breakfast is highly nutritious.

YOU REALLY CAN TRUST YOURSELF!

THAT'S INTUITIVE EATING!

     But the problem is we don't actually believe we CAN trust ourselves and if we do we will gain weight, a lot of weight, and become horribly unhealthy.

NOT TRUE!

      So just for today think about all the foods that would taste incredibly delicious and make you feel good. Just for a moment think about these foods.

     You don't have to turn to a quickie diet to earn the right to have these foods. With INTUITIVE EATING you're already there!
