 YOUR MINDFUL LIFE!

     Hey there, Dyan here (The Health Coach Is In) to continue my steps to dump your "stress" and live a MINDFUL, calm and peaceful life! 

BUT FIRST...

     How was your last couple of weeks? Did you get a chance to practice your Mindful Walk? Did you feel refreshed and alive?

     Well, I'm not through. Here's one more very effective way for you to de-stress and add to the peace and calmness of your life, and you can start this one first thing in the morning!

Take a look at the third way to live a Mindful Life.

6 SIMPLE STEPS TO A MINDFUL SHOWER 

      You can start your days with mindfulness by incorporating it with your early morning shower. And practicing mindfulness while you take a hot shower makes it more enjoyable, too.

 HOW DOES THIS SOUND?.... GOOD?

 I THOUGHT YOU’D THINK SO!

 SO LET’S TAKE A MINDFUL SHOWER!

 FIRST

Turn off your smartphone and any other distractions such as a TV or radio.

 SECOND

As soon as you step into the shower, notice the TEMPERATURE of the water. Is it cold? Is it hot? Or is it just right?

 THIRD

Notice the SOUND of the water flowing from the shower head. Be aware of the difference between the sound of the shower while you are standing under it and when the water directly hits your tub or tile.

 FOURTH

FEEL the sensation of the water on your body; notice how easily it glides over your skin. Notice all the SMELLS associated with the soap to cleanse your body and the shampoo to cleanse your hair.

 FIFTH

Erase any disruptive thoughts that might try to enter your mind while you are focused on your shower. Make sure you are truly enjoying your shower.

 SIXTH

As you step out of the shower, feel the soft TEXTURE of the rug you stepped on and the fibers of your towel and bathrobe. Notice how they absorb the water drops-lets still left on your body.

 Starting your day with a mindful hot shower will expand your awareness and concentration in all areas of your life!
